Born From Love & a Little Desperation

My husband, George and I have always been the traveling, ocean loving type, scuba diving, boating, exploring deserted beaches, or just spending time in our South Florida backyard, but every time George stepped outside, he'd get eaten alive by mosquitoes or any other biting insect. On our destination scuba trips, it was worse: extreme itching and allergic reactions that turned into sleepless nights, and a cast-iron memory for never bringing bug spray. On the rare occasion that I did remember bug spray, it was followed by George saying, "I hate putting those chemicals all over me." I knew there had to be a better option, so I got to work.
